So, What's Your Story?
All About Me
Bianca Christiansen is 22 years old and an artist in many formats.
First and foremost she considers herself an actor and performer, having done theatre since she was about 13 years old. Being on stage has been her love and passion since the curtains opened on the opening number of her first children's theatre performance. She has been taking voice lessons since she was about 15 and has loved every minute of it. Onstage, she would describe herself as the bookish beauty, shorter than she likes but stronger than she seems. She stands 5'0" tall but is a mixed bag full of joy, sass, and quirky clumsiness.

She is also a visual artist with her favorite mediums being watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint (with gouache coming close behind), but she loves to mess around and dabble in other mediums such as photography, digital art, and graphite drawings. All her friends will tell you that she is a deeply-feeling, emotional person, so her art reflects that wide range of emotion and self-expression. She is beginning work on her own greeting card line and a few other self-motivated art projects that she cannot wait to explore.

Finally, she is also a writer of short fiction stories as well as a poet. In high school she liked to brag that she had been published in a few competition anthologies, but she's learned since then that bragging is a bad color on anyone. To this day, she finds herself learning more every time she writes about finding her own voice and style. She knows she has so much growing to do as a writer, but she loves sharing stories with an audience. Books and stories made such a huge impact on her life as a kid, and she wants to give that same experience to the rest of the world. A dear friend of hers once told her "Bianca, you see the world in poetry." It's a compliment she will never forget and will forever hold near to her heart.

In time, she prays that her work will be able to impact people's lives, that she can provide a safe creative space for artists, especially young creatives, to escape for a while, and most importantly that she can remind those she meets to that they are loved, and to nkeep hope, even in the hardest of times.
